Vinicius burst into tears in the press conference room
The Brazilian player burst into tears when repeatedly asked about racism.
During the press conference before the match against Spain, Vinicius Junior did not receive professional questions. Instead, reporters only mentioned what this player thought about racism.
Faced with overwhelming questions, the star born in 2000 burst into tears: “Sorry, I just want to play football. My wish is to contribute my best to Real Madrid and take care of my family.”
“I will not leave Spain, because that is what the racists want. Besides, Real Madrid is the best club in the world and I will not leave here for any reason. Thanks to the support from the team and President Florentino Perez, I have more strength to fight racism,” Vinicius added.
Vinicius continuously became a victim of racism in La Liga. This player once burst into tears on the field when he was humiliated by Valencia fans during a match at Mestalla Stadium last season.
A few weeks ago, Vinicius was involved in a rare incident. In a post on the fanpage, Real Madrid’s media team accidentally paired a picture of a player born in 2000 with the ape logo that evolved into a human of the band Vinic Vici. Vinicius became angry when he saw the photo and insisted on quitting the competition.
Real’s director had to come out to reassure the 24-year-old player and at the same time promise to discipline the person who made an unbelievable mistake.
At 3:30 a.m. tomorrow morning (March 27), Brazil will have a friendly match with Spain. Previously, “Selecao” excellently defeated England 1-0 at Wembley, despite not having the best squad.
