Bugatti Chiron Profilee is a unique car, there is only one in the world. That explains why the car recently set the highest auction record: 9.7 million euros (equivalent to 10.76 million USD or 250.5 billion VND).
This figure does not include VAT. Therefore, the amount the buyer has to spend is 12 million euros (13.1 million USD). An unspecified percentage of the proceeds will go to several charities.
The above information was announced by Bugatti Mate Rimac CEO himself on his personal Facebook page. He did not reveal the identity of the buyer and according to Carbuzz , it is likely that this person will want to remain anonymous.
The bespoke Bugatti Chiron Profilee, which can be considered Bugatti’s Porsche 911 GT3, was launched just before Christmas 2022. The car is equipped with an 8.0L W16 quad-turbo engine with a total capacity of 1,479 horsepower and 1,600 torque. Nm, same power as Chiron Pur Sport, but performance is much better.
Profilee accelerates faster than Chiron Sport, taking only 2.3 seconds to run from 0 to 100km/h. Maximum speed is 380km/h, while Pur Sport reaches a maximum speed of 349km/h.
Essentially, the Bugatti Chiron Profilee combines the sophistication of the Pur Sport with some nice design touches like a ducktail rear spoiler instead of the previous model’s fixed rear spoiler.
Not only that, Profilee has many other improvements compared to the Chiron Sport, such as stiffer springs, better traction when cornering without affecting the driver’s comfort, and custom-made wheels.
Not only is it the only car, the Bugatti Chiron Profilee also possesses many “unique things” that no other Bugatti has, such as Argent Atlantique interior, and specially tested wheels.
The Profilee is also the first Chiron to have the dashboard, door panels and center console finished in woven leather. Bugatti said it needed more than 2,500 cubic meters of leather to do this.
