Singer builds some of the most beautifully renovated porches in the world. However, there may be fewer people on the road than you expect. The new yet-to-be-launched Sotto project is the company’s 300th restoration, and it’s quite the eye-catcher.
This car was originally a 1990 Porsche 911 Targa and Singer modified it to look more classic, like all of its other models. The carbon bodywork is painted Resistance Blue and features a ghost three-wheeler with “Porsche” branding along the lower sides. Remoʋable roof panels are dark in color. The car’s ceramic brakes are placed behind Fuchs-style spoked wheels.
Raising the engine crate results in Singer’s beautiful 4.0-liter air-cooled flat-six engine that makes 390 horsepower and can reach 9,000 rpm. Engine Has a titanium exhaust pipe. This buyer went with the high-speed manual transmission – an excellent choice – but Singer also offers a six-speed transmission.
The singer began performing in 2009 and quickly attracted a large following. Currently, the company operates a 115,000 square foot facility in Torrance, California, which produces, paints, assembles and fabricates furniture under one roof. The company also has a separate show in the UK.
In 2022, Singer announced it would temporarily stop taking orders for Classic Study models – like this 911. At the time, Oss Rob Dickinson said he planned to limit production to 450 units.
Singer also has a series of monasteries. These cars imitate the 911 Turbos from the 1970s and buyers are going crazy for these cars. We’ve seen ones with racing-inspired styling, ads, and more traditional-looking coupes.
