While there are countless ways, colors, and shades to sport chrome nails—like drip chrome, aquatic chrome, and star designs—glass iterations are nearly nonexistent. We have to go back in a few seconds.

Glazed donut chrome nails are essentially what they sound like, a manicure that leaves your fingers looking fresh from the oven with a clear or nearly clear base and a shimmery chrome finish light above. Hailey Bieber’s manicurist, Zola Ganzorigt, achieved this look using OPI’s Funny Bunny Nail Polish ($14) and Tin Man Can Chrome Powder, which will most likely need to be done in a nail salon because chrome is a product for professionals only.

Rattan nails

@julieknailsnyc/Instagram Cloud nails—also known as milk bath nails—are essentially glazed donut nails with a few layers of “icing” added. Named after the clouds, of course, this barely there manicure will leave your cuticles on cloud nine with its thin, all-white finish.

This barely-there representation of the trend may seem simple at first glance, but due to the all-white nature of the look, it requires precision so no ridges or stripes are visible.

First, you’ll rub some cuticle oil on them; then, once they soften, push them back in and wipe clean. You’ll then use Dazzle Dry Transform Ridge Filler ($24) for a smooth finish. Then, for the first coat, apply a thin layer of clear white nail polish like Jinsoon Nail Polish in Dew ($18). Once dry, apply another thin coat of the same gloss, and once dry, finish with a high-gloss top coat, such as Butter London Hardwear Shine UV Top Coat ($18).

Milk colored nails

This muted manicure – which, like the rattan nail, is a combination of my manicures but prettier and hardly on trend – is a favorite of celebrities like Nicola Peltz, Kourtney Kardashian and Jennifer Aniston and can be easily copied at home. Zendaya, Hailey Bieber and Megan Thee Stallion even turned heads with similar strawberry-scented, pale pink looks.

Somewhere between white and nude with an almost glossy chrome powder on top, you can achieve that look with a light, white base coat like OG White ($10) or OG Cotton ($10). and a top coat of glitter gel polish like OPI’s Funny Bunny ($11). If you’re looking to pair with Zendaya’s version of strawberry milk, swap out the light base coat for LK Naked Rubber Base Coat 04 – Milk Pink ($30) for an authentic Nesquik look.

Oat milk nails

If you are a vegetarian or lactose intolerant, you can ditch the milk-colored nails in favor of plant-based nails, oat milk nails.

Original, unsweetened, unflavored oat milk nails come in a soft white tone that reveals just a hint of your nails. However, there is also a neutral oat milk blend version that uses some light shades to create an ombre effect spread evenly across all of your nails to reflect all the brands and flavors of the item. Drink your favorite oatmeal.

Glossy Nail Polish

Le Manoir Despite its name, no lip gloss is included in this barely-there nail trend. Instead, lip gloss is a manicure that gives your nails a clear, shiny finish reminiscent of the lipstick product of its name.

While the original look is light pink, you can choose any of your favorite shade to recreate on your nails. To get the OG shine, try Londontown’s Perfecting Nail Veils ($20), especially the Nail Veil #4 in dusty rose, for a nice concealer on your nails . Top with Gel Genius Top Coat ($20) for a super glossy finish. Maybe even try Le Manoir’s sheer jelly line.

Similar to jelly nails, glazed donut nails, and most of the styles on this list, you’ll need a perfectly manicured nail base and properly cared for cuticles to get the glossiest polish on your nails.

Vanilla Chrome Nails

To get the look, it will be a similar process to their unflavored counterparts. Start with a sweet vanilla base, such as Kiss’s Vanilla Glazed press-ons ($12) or polish with similar shades. Then, on top, try a metallic top coat like Urban Outfitters ($6) or an all-in-one polish like Nails. Inc’s What shell? ($11).

To get this look, you may need to go to the salon to get your beloved OPI Funny Bunny for the vanilla top and Put It In Neutral for the base. Although depending on your skin tone, you may want to change the base color – for pink tones use Bubble Bath and for yellow tones Bare My Soul. If vanilla is too basic for you, try Hailey Bieber’s candy cane iteration, swapping the vanilla for holiday mint.

For the red and white swirls, grab OPI Natural Nail Base Coat ($11), then, once dry, apply OPI Nail Polish in Funny Bunny ($12) over the entire nail base. To create a French manicure, use OPI Nail Polish in Big Apple Red ($12).
