Libby’s journey of love and courage amid cancer
Cancer, although it severely affects the lives of many people, also has an impact on the body and mind. Patients and their loved ones are forced to face the pain and despair of this disease. Amidst this reality, a brave dog named Libby finds herself trapped on the streets due to being hunted. However, little did he know that the brave angel would come to him, promising to stay by his side until dark and thin.
When I first approached Libby, the couch and bench carved into her body awoke me with great compassion. Determined to provide comfort and support, I have solemnly promised to keep souls happy, without fear of intimidation.
At 3 p.m., Libby began a series of tests at the veterinary clinic while management and I talked about her condition. The exams will last for hours but Libby’s resilience and determination have given her the added motivation to do her best under this beautiful sunshine.
The doctor’s words touched my heart. He points out that, despite the weight of her cry, Libby is still able to master her tail, demonstrating her incredible strength. But when we learned that Libby was suffering from terminal melanoma, our hearts collapsed.
Although the news was dead, the doctor confirmed that Libby had not experienced that feeling and was very worried. We sent Libby home, determined to make each day she left as comfortable and happy as possible, prescribing medication to ease her symptoms.
Every day, Libby greets υs with ethυsiasm, a living representative of optimism, a true lover of life. She perseveres every day with an unwavering spirit, knowing that there is a team of dedicated doctors and nurses by her side, ready to support her every step of the way. For Libby, every day becomes a day of celebrating life, appreciating the present and accepting the joys that come her way.
However, a difficult situation arose when it formed significantly on his back, requiring immediate removal. Doctors gave him two options: stop the bleeding to save more lives or get a leg transplant so he could continue to live in pain. We choose the latter, believing that Libby deserves more time to experience joy and happiness.
Besides, Libby is still as prosperous as ever! Look at her radiant face, immersed in her own birthday celebration— the first time she has such resilience. I try to create new moments of joy for her every day, cherishing our time together. When Libby stays with me, I promise to fill her life with the joy of adventure, discovering new places, and creating memories to cherish.

She acts as a guardian that life can still be embraced with joy and optimism, even in the most difficult moments.
