The great bird (Niltava gradis) is a species of bird in the Muscicapidae family. It is foυd in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its marine habitat is tropical woodland or rainforest.

These attacking birds live in humid tropical forests. They can also be rural gardeners. Large insects mainly feed on these species. They also eat other vertebrates and wild berries. During the breeding season, large female spiders build their largest nests among rocks and tree hollows. They even make holes in rotting tree trunks to lay their eggs. These pads are made from moss and plastic fibers. They eat 2-5 eggs in about 15 days. They feed the chicks for 14 days until they are fully feathered, leaving behind nests and nests for food.
