Kevin De Bruyne participated in a light training session after returning from injury

Kevin De Bryne will return to training with Manchester City as Pep Guardiola’s team prepares for the Club World Cup.

Belgium’s prime minister is back from leave last month – but his business was overshadowed by the horror of his 70-acre estate going bust on Saturday.

De Brυyпe, his wife Michele and their three children were not present at the house at the time of the raid.

As his family accepted a break, De Bruyne stepped up his recovery by returning to the training field with his Man City teammates.

The Belgian midfielder was smiling and in good spirits throughout the training session. Gυardiola will be hoping, given his side’s different form, that his star player can speed up his counter-attack.

Like De Bryne, star striker Erling Haaland was also present with his teammates.

The striker was left out of Man City’s squad at the weekend when they drew 2-2 with Crystal Palace.

De Brυyпe’s return to the first team has been expected for some time, especially after he was selected in City’s first-team squad.

Belgian newspaper HLN said the items were taken from his home but other details were available. The thieves used a ladder to get to the first floor of the housing complex in Bolderberg, Heυsdenп-Zolder.
