England and Croatia both won friendly matches before EURO 2024. Meanwhile, Germany was disappointing.

England won 3-0 against Bosnia & Herzegovina in a friendly match that took place early this morning. Cole Palmer helped England open the scoring with a goal from the penalty spot in the 60th minute. Alexander-Arnold increased the score to 2-0 with a goal in the 85th minute. Harry Kane scored the 3-0 goal when the match entered to minute 89. England will play the last friendly match before EURO 2024 on June 8. Their opponent in that match was Iceland.

This is the first time since 1994 that England started a match without any players from MU, Man City, Arsenal or Tottenham in the starting lineup.

Meanwhile, the German national team disappointed with a 0-0 draw with Ukraine. German players launched 26 shots, held the ball 57% but could not score a goal. It also needs to be said that the German national team is missing a few key players due to the Champions League final such as Toni Kroos and Niklas Fullkrug. However, this draw result is unlikely to make German fans feel secure when EURO 2024 is approaching.

With this draw, the German team is unbeaten in the last 10 meetings with Ukraine. However, this is the first time the German team has not been able to score against the opponent’s net since 1997.

On June 8, the German team will meet Greece in the final friendly match before entering EURO 2024.

Croatia won 3-0 when hosting North Macedonia. Lovro Majer scored twice in the first half to help coach Dalic’s team lead 2-0. In the 79th minute, Pasalic scored to seal the victory for Croatia.
