Leeds United defeated Norwich to win tickets to the Championship play-off final, placing one foot in Premier League 20
The hope of returning to the Premier League in the 2024/25 season is increasingly open for Leeds, as they just defeated Norwich 4-0 in the semi-final second leg of the Championship play-off.

Ilia Gruev’s smart free kick, Joel Piroe’s header and Georginio Rutter’s fierce finish gave Leeds complete control of the match. In the second half, Crysencio Summerville continued to score a fourth goal for Leeds, putting an end to all of Norwich’s hopes.
Commenting after the match on BBC Radio Leeds, commentator Aidy White highly appreciated striker Joel Piroe’s performance in Leeds United’s recent victory.
“I thought Joel Piroe led the attack really well, especially in the first half. He looked amazing, probably the first time I’ve seen him really shine this season,” Aidy said.
