Guinness World Records said that the super limousine, called “American Dream” was originally built in 1986 by car customization expert Jay Ohrberg and is nearly 18.3 meters long. The car is equipped with 26 wheels, and has a pair of V8 engines in the front and rear. Ohrberg then increased the length of the car to 30.48m, re-establishing the Guinness World Record for the longest car.

The car appeared several times in the film before being moved to a warehouse in New Jersey where it was stored for several years.

After that, Mr. Michael Manning, owner of the Autoseum technical teaching museum in Nassau County, NY, decided to take on the task of “reviving” the “American Dream” supercar that had rusted after a long time in storage. , with many parts that cannot even be reused.

“The first time I saw the car was at a car show in New Jersey and the car was just a pile of scrap metal. It was painted over, the windows were broken, the tires were flat, but I loved it anyway. it… I will restore this car” – said Manning.

However, Manning said plans to restore the “American Dream” supercar were interrupted due to some budget problems and he had to look for a new “owner” for the car when Autoseum’s contract with Nassau County is terminated.

After much hesitation, Manning finally listed the car on eBay, where it found a new owner in 2019, Michael Dezer, owner of the Dezerland Car Museum and attraction in Orlando, Fla.

The car was brought back to Orlando to be restored and former owner Manning was also involved in this work. The results were beyond imagination when the “American Dream” was revived, equipped with a helipad, swimming pool, jacuzzi, a mini golf course and a large water bed. The supercar can accommodate 75 people at a time.

Mr. Manning said that after being restored, the supercar will be displayed at the Dezerland Car Museum. “You can’t really drive the car on the road because it’s too long… It was built for display” – he expressed./.
