Cristiano Ronaldo glimpses family life as he celebrates eldest son Jr’s 12th birthday in Majorca

Cristiano Ronaldo gave a glimpse into family life as he celebrated his son’s 12th birthday in Majorca on Sunday.

The soccer legend, 37, took a rare break from training to share a touching tribute to his son Cristiano Jr. on his birthday.

Ronaldo’s eldest son posed in front of a large sports-themed cake patterned with white hexagons in the style of a soccer ball and a red football shirt with the number seven to symbolize his father’s position in the Portuguese national football team.

In photos shared on Cristiano’s girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez’s Instagram page, Jr can be seen smiling as yellow confetti fell on him as he stood next to his cake with balloons green behind.

Georgina, 28, shared another photo of Cristiano with his son as they posed with their other children.

The striker stood next to 5-year-old twins Eva and Mateo, who were born through a surrogate before Ronaldo met Georgina.

Ronaldo’s eldest son was born in the US in 2010 but was immediately brought back to Madrid to grow up in Spain. His mother’s identity remains unknown.

The family was seen enjoying the birthday meal outside, enjoying the warm weather at a long table where Jr.’s friends joined.

Currently the birthday boy is a shining light at Manchester United’s academy, recreating his father’s partnership with Wayne Rooney’s son, Kai.

In October 2021, Cristiano and Georgina revealed that they were expecting twins but tragically their son died at birth on April 18, but their daughter survived.

After a horrific stillbirth, the couple and their other children returned home with their newborn daughter, days after the footballer confirmed his partner had lost his twin brother kid.

Cristiano shared an update on social media shortly after their baby girl made the journey back from the hospital after giving birth.

Posting a photo to his 430 million followers, Ronaldo carried his daughter with his Spanish partner Georgina and their four children.

Captioning the post, he wrote: ‘Dear home. Gio and the baby girl were finally with us. We want to thank everyone for all the kind words and gestures.
