The stunning new Autoмolii Pininfarina B95 with its roofless design will have the most steadfast internal combustion engine fan hot under the collar.

The Munich-based electric vehicle manufacturer, which is the result of a merger with iconic Italian coach and designer Pininfarina SpA since 2021, said ‘the convertible body of the B95 contrasted with refined technical details to deliver a stunning interpretation of a classic racer, reinforcing its pure electric performance.
The hand-built hypercars will be produced from 2025, which also marks Pininfarina SpA’s 95th anniversary.
This explains the EV’s name, with the letter ‘B’ standing for barchetta, which is the Italian reference for a small convertible car.
Each will be meticulously curated by Pininfarina and ten lucky – and wealthy – customers, ensuring complete exclusivity as no two customers are alike.
At the heart of its ‘state-of-the-art’ electric powertrain is a 120kWh, liquid-cooled, high-output, T-shaped lithium-ion battery that produces 1,400kW (1,878.hp) of peak power. .
That’s almost 400 horsepower – equivalent to a Mercedes A45 AMG hot hatchback – more than Bugatti’s four-turbo internal combustion supercar.
The battery is housed in a lightweight carbon fiber case and can be charged using a DC fast charger at a rate of 270kW – this means the fastest of all the super-fast devices can theoretically increase power from 20 to 80% in just 25 minutes.
Power is distributed to the road by four independent electric motors – one driving each wheel, forged aluminum rims – 20 inches at the front, 21 inches at the rear.

But as astonishing as the performance numbers are, the B95’s design is what’s capable of triggering jaws to hit the tarmac.

The barchetta design means there is no enclosed cabin, with the cockpit having a wraparound that incorporates seats and a canopy behind each passenger.
