Tanagers have silver beaks and their distinctive coat color

The silver-billed tanager (Ramphocelus carbo) is a medium-sized passerine bird found in South America, from Trinidad to Paraguay, central Brazil, eastern Colombia and Venezuela.

With silver Tanagers beads weigh 25 grams (0.88 oz) and are 18 cm (7 in) long. Adult males have a dark red chest and neck and a silky black color. The bill’s larger lower jaw is a brilliant silver color, while the bill’s upper jaw is black. On the screen, the bill is facing up. With brown upperparts, reddish-brown lower parts, and a black bill, the female is significantly duller in color. Some female birds vary greatly in their plumage, mainly in the degree of contrast between the upper part and the neck and breast.

Breed:

It can be found in cultivated areas and open forests. Usually built in a shrub, the large cup nest usually contains two green eggs with black and brown spots. Before the eggs hatch, the female incubates them for 11–12 days. The chicks take another 11–12 days to mature.
