Created as a personal shuttle for visitors and VIPs to the Ingolstadt factory, the Audi A3 XXL Conertible started out as two standard A3s with only two doors.
From there, Audi added four doors and connected the front of one car to the back of the other to accommodate eight passengers.
Unsurprisingly, Audi has no plans to put the A3 XXL into production but the liаousine automaker is giving something to think about – just imagine this thing rolling on the streets of Las Vegas!
The rear axle is made to rotate to reduce the turning radius. The car was built by three Audi AG employees along with a team of apprentices. The added rear-wheel steering system helps the elongated vehicle handle tight corners. The A3 XXL is not street legal and the roof is no longer functional; it is always in a down state.
