Erling Haaland foot injury caused him to miss the Club World Cup, Jeremy Doku and Kevin De Bruyne also had to sit out Man

Manchester City were dealt a blow to their hopes of winning the Club World Cup after Erling Haalad was eliminated from the tournament.

Haalпd was originally registered in City’s 23-map squad for Tuesday’s semi-final against Urawa Red Diamonds but his foot problem has not been effectively resolved.

City dropped Norway from their squad just before the final match – with Kevin De Brυyпe and Jeremy Dokυ having also been ruled out of a potential final against Flυminense on Friday.

De Brυyпe trained for a full training session here in February but his return after a long recovery from a hamstring injury will most likely come in Saudi Arabia.

Dokυ, the winger who lit up the Premier League during his debt-ridden season, is still suffering from a hamstring problem.
