Jagυar is developing a vehicle, the green hybrid machine – an ultra-friendly speedster capable of 0-60 mph in less than three seconds.
The £900,000 C-X75 will have a 1.6-litre petrol engine and two electric motors to provide ultra-low fuel speeds.
Furthermore, its carbon dioxide emissions will be as low as those from a Toyota Priυs family car.
These green certificates will exempt London from road tax and tolls.
But the car – the most expensive in the British racing team’s history – will still pack serious power, reaching a top speed of more than 200 mph.
The range of the silent electric motor is only 30 miles, although the total range of electric and gasoline power will be about 300 miles. Bosses at Jagυar say their claims about the two-seater’s performance prove that ‘green’ doesn’t necessarily mean ‘boring’.
The Just 250 will be produced from 2013 to 2015 as part of a partnership with the Williams Formula 1 team, combining racing with cutting-edge cutting-edge technology.
Jagυar says the rear-wheel drive supercar will rival Ferrari, McLareп and Lamborghini, while its technology will be applied to successor models to the legendary E-Type.

The gasoline-electric hybrid all-wheel drive model will be equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine linked to two powerful electric motors.
The charge stored in the battery is recharged during motion from the energy released during braking.
The ‘plug-in’ option will allow the car to be charged from the home power source to the mains.
