1. Beautiful black and white horse tattoo.

While some of the tattoos on this list are quite intricate and colorful, not every horse tattoo needs to be vibrant and match your face. In fact, a delicate black and white tattoo with clean, elegant lines can further express the elegance and sophistication of the horse. In this case, the medium-sized tattoo covers the model’s lower shoulder and slightly extends up the upper arm.

It is a profile image of a horse’s head wearing a bridle. The lower part of the tattoo has a beautiful flower, probably a lotus blooming from the neck. The horse’s fur, ears, and eyes are beautifully done, but the muzzle could use a little more work. Remember that no animal tattoo is perfect. Sometimes, it simply reflects the wearer’s or artist’s own interpretation. This is an art we are talking about after all.

2. Colorful hand-drawn horse tattoo.

This unique horse tattoo somewhat resembles a hand-drawn painting. The shape of the horse is clearly visible and it certainly takes center stage. However, I also couldn’t help but notice the unique color combination used to create it, as well as the colors that adorn the lower part of the arm below the head. This is a perfect horse tattoo for an artistic, free spirit.

The wearer can be fascinated by art and the freedom it brings. If only horses could see colors like we do.

3. Black horse tattoo.

This is certainly an expressive and interesting work. The tattoo is located on the calf and it features a black and white rearing horse. The horse is muscular, finely detailed and very strong. The bottom part of the tattoo is in the shape of a horseshoe, which may be symbolic. Horseshoes are meant to bring luck and fortune, so wearing one on your skin regularly is definitely not a bad idea.

In terms of size, this is a medium-sized illustration that could easily be covered with a simple pair of pants if needed. However, I will always show off this horse tattoo. It was created by a Korean artist named Sanhae.

4. Chestnut galloping horse tattoo.

this is another medium-sized work showing a galloping chestnut horse. The horse’s mane fluttered in the wind, it seemed happy and satisfied with its freedom to run and jump. A running horse tattoo can represent freedom and power. The piece itself is nicely done with lots of detail, which is impressive since the subject is shown at an angle.

Parts of the subject are slightly blurred such as the nails and feet as well as the left side of the face. This is an easily visible forearm tattoo. It contrasts perfectly with the wearer’s skin tone and stands out thanks to its vibrant brown color.

5. Colorful horse tattoo.

If you’re looking for a more colorful piece, check out this beautiful illustration of a horse from the side – all done in two distinct colors. The object’s outer edges are blue and pink, while the outline is pure black.

It’s a simple, effective, and eye-catching design. This particular one adorns the wearer’s outer forearm but it could just as easily work on the calf or shoulder despite being vertical.

This is a very interesting tattoo that immediately caught my attention. It had the appearance of a galloping horse, but it was actually only half a horse. the horse appears to be fading as it runs along, or maybe it is actually forming and coming together.

It all depends on your perspective and how you want to interpret it. This is a small to medium sized piece of black and white body art. It rests on the wearer’s forearm but can also work on the feet or above the shoulder blades.

7. Anime style horse tattoo.

Okay, maybe it’s not an anime style tattoo but it definitely has a cartoon look about it. It’s an intricate forearm tattoo featuring a stylized horse’s head in full gear. The horse’s eyes are hollow for a dramatic effect, which I personally like.

It comes in black and white, which means it contrasts perfectly with the skin. It also includes a few other details if you look close up, such as a buckled leather strap, a feather, and a few scribbles that create a casual, sketch-like look. 8. Simple horse silhouette with flowers.

Not all ink needs to be complicated to convey a message. This one, for example, is one of the simplest and most beautiful designs I’ve seen in a while. It shows the horse’s shape as simply as possible but also includes details like flowing hair and pointed ears. The horse also appears from behind the flower wall.

This minimalist body art style is definitely one of my favorites, but it may not be for everyone.

9. Black and blue horse back tattoo.

Black and blue are a great combination when it comes to body art. This one shows off half of the horse as it rears or jumps over obstacles. The horse’s main body is black and white, but its mane, front hair, and part of its legs are decorated in a cold, dark blue.

This special part adorns the wearer’s back, especially the shoulder blades. It can also work well on the chest, but I think this position is ideal.

10. Detailed chestnut horse tattoo.

Colorful and incredibly intricate, this body art depicts a horse’s head from the side. The horse’s eyes appear to be directed directly at the viewer, but the horse can also look at the ground from this angle.

The horse has a beautiful bridle with purple and gold straps. It also has a black mane and a dark bay color. The upper part of the head is surrounded by a brilliant, deep turquoise aura.

11. Black and blue geometric horse tattoo.

I just love modern and bold designs that involve horse body art! This tattoo is a perfect example of this. It looks like a simple black sketch with a blue splash on the horse’s back. However, a closer look reveals that the horse’s head and legs are actually very angular. The artist used sharp edges and bold shapes to create this piece.

the addition of the blue contrasts nicely and makes the horse stand out even more. Truly a wonderful piece of modern art worn on the skin.

12. Horse head tattoo framed with diamonds.

Horse head tattoos abound, but this artist wanted to make his work a little more special by wrapping the horse’s portrait in a diamond shape. Definitely a creative idea and sure to raise some questions. The horse’s left eye is covered by a hair, while the other eye is uncovered. The ears are pointed but also slightly rounded at the top.

Overall, the horse looks similar to a real-life horse. The muzzle is a bit square if you ask me, but that’s less of a criticism and more of an observation.

13. Horse tattoo with gentle eyes.

Most horses have gentle eyes, but this one really stands out with its doe eyes. Beautifully engraved in black and white on the skin, this horse tattoo also features blooming flowers in the neck area. Also, I should mention the parted hair on top of the head, the flowing mane, and the amazing details on the horse’s face and muzzle.

The black really stands out when applied to pale skin. This beautiful horse head tattoo brings a feeling of happiness and good vibes. The horse’s neck is rounded with three leaves to add to the effect. In fact, most of these tattoos feature some form of nature-inspired element on either side of the subject. It’s a technique used by many tattoo artists from around the world to ensure a more balanced composition.

It works well, although I wish the horse was a bit more detailed. Perhaps the ambiguity is by design to keep things simple.

15. Colorful horse tattoo in tribal style.

Now this tattoo is not at all simple and vague. It uses a lot of ink and many colors, and the result is like a painting on the skin. The horse’s head looks towards the viewer with a bright blue eye, surrounded by a bright red circle. Horses also have bright blue fur behind the ears, as well as three yellow lines running across the muzzle and a green zig-zag line below the eyes.

Some tribes used feathers and colorful face paint on their bodies and horses. Therefore, it is safe to assume that this is a tribal inspired horse tattoo.

16. A horse escapes geometry.

This section is all about transformation. It depicts a colt escaping its simple geometric shape and transforming into a detailed, beautiful and expressive creature. There is also a black arrow pointing down from the horse’s belly, as well as shrapnel dropped during the transformation.

This design can represent transition, growth or maturity. In any case, it looks very nice because it mixes two distinctive styles.

One of the most impressive tattoos on this list depicts a beautiful flying horse with flowing red hair. the horse appears to be galloping, and everything on its body is carved with such skill and detail that it almost looks unreal. Everything from the horse’s fur, ears, face, muzzle, chest, legs and hooves looks realistic.

What’s even more clever is that the subject’s edge follows the natural curves of the wearer’s leg. This is one of the most beautiful thigh tattoos I have ever seen in my life.

20. The little horse jumped up on his forearm.

These tattoos don’t have to be big or epic. It all depends on what the wearer wants and needs. For example, this one is a small and detailed tattoo, no larger than two coins placed side by side. It depicts a horse galloping across a flat surface. Maybe it’s a wild horse, maybe it’s a farm horse enjoying some time on the plains. Regardless, this is a simple but effective design.

21. Colorful green horse with blonde hair.

This illustration seems to depict sadness. the horse is literally blue and it seems to be looking down with sad eyes. Its mane is golden in color, making it even more beautiful and awe-inspiring. Purple background with black broad strokes. I don’t know why this tattoo touches me so much. It seems to depict a lost soul, or perhaps a soul that has yet to find peace.

22. Monochrome horse head tattoo.

Most horses are depicted from the side with tattoos. Creating a profile is easier for the artist because it allows them to capture more of the horse’s unique facial expressions. This horse wears a headband and bridle. It has a long, flowing mane as well as beautiful black eyes. It is a monochrome tattoo that looks beautiful on the skin. It looks almost as if it’s coming from underneath the skin if that makes any sense.

23. Rainbow horse tattoo.

There’s a lot going on with this one. Horse manes come in many colors, as does the horse itself. However, blue is clearly dominant as it covers most of the subject’s body. there are some loose strands of hair here and there for dramatic effect. eyes wide open, indicating excitement or fear. Below the horse’s head and chest are covered with a series of angular floral patterns.

24. Impressive horse design on the forearm.

Powerful and dramatic, this work of horse body art covers the wearer’s actual arm and half of his hand. It is a narrow horse head that is black and red in color. The horse’s overall facial expression is one of effort or disdain. It can indicate a running horse, especially when it comes to color choice. It can also denote a mythical horse, although it is difficult to work out exactly which horse it is.

25. Black horse with white eyes and white fur.

This is a tattoo of a war horse. The bridle has a series of bold, rounded ornaments, while the chest is framed by some sort of armored blade. This is what I imagine a great general’s horse would look like. Its long mane flutters in the wind, while its large bright eyes look straight into the hearts of both friend and foe.

26. Simple and unique tattoo design.

I was surprised to see this small but impressive horse tattoo. It’s a black and white piece that shows off the horse right from the front. It looks as if the horse is about to break through the leather and walk right off the wearer’s forearm.

Quite impressively, the tattoo brings the horse’s front legs and face into the foreground while the top of the head and chest appear out of focus in the background.

27. Impressive stance, special details.

I really have to congratulate Sandra Daukshta for this special horse tattoo. Black horse running from inspirational fire background. It’s a large tattoo so it would probably take many hours to remove like this. The black horse silhouette contrasts beautifully with the fiery orange and yellow background.

The pose is also quite impressive, with hair flowing to the side, head tilted and body curved.

28. Faded nature design in black and white.

Horses are great lovers of the outdoors. they spend their entire lives in the plains and forests if not domesticated. This tattoo shows a beautiful horse trotting towards the unknown. Its body celebrates nature and its stunning landscape. the artist has captured both the beauty of the horse as well as the purity of the forest.

The result is a wonderful blend of life and joy.

29. The horse’s upper back.

While perhaps not the prettiest tattoo on this list, I wanted to include it because it actually depicts a herd of horses. The large one in the middle has two more on either side and they are all clearly depicted against the mountain background. In addition to horses, the wearer also chose to have other animals tattooed on their skin, including an owl and a bat sitting upside down.

30. Modern, colorful, geometric with blue and pink tones.

This type of horse tattoo can work as a temporary or event-based piece of body art. However, it could also be permanent, in which case I must congratulate the artist for his/her use of color. Different parts of the theme are colored differently. The hind part as well as the mane and belly are all pink. However, the chest and face are blue.

This is a modern side horse tattoo that looks beautiful on the wearer’s thigh. It can also work the back or shoulders.

31. Raised black and white with exceptional detail.

This black and white horse is preparing to gallop. It is similar to some of the other tattoos we have featured so far, but the main difference is the pose of the horse as well as the location of the tattoo. this one appears to live on the wearer’s bicep, which is a relatively unusual location for a horse tattoo. However, it looks beautiful with incredible detail and varying shading.

32. Black and white Pegasus with thunder and clouds.

Pegasus, or the winged horse, is one of the most recognizable mythical creatures. There’s a lot going on with this tattoo, a lot of detail and a very impressive scene. Pegasus is spreading his wings as he rushes through the storm. It was certainly an amazing sight. This is one of those tattoos that you need to spend quite a bit of time analyzing to understand all the details. As far as Pegasus tattoos go, it’s definitely one of the best in the world.

33. Black and white side panels.

Horse ownership is extremely popular when it comes to tattoos. Riding a horse often indicates aggression or a reaction to an undisciplined rider. However, when the horse is not being ridden, it can signify excitement and happiness. That’s a very wise stance for a horse. As it grows, it becomes bigger, scarier, and sometimes terrifying.

This body art is done in black and white and it only shows off half of the horse’s body. Mane points upward for a more active position.

34. Black and white horse head tree and inverted tree.

Horses and nature go hand in hand, especially when it comes to tattoos. However, this one is a bit strange because the trees are actually reversed. The roots and trunk are upside down compared to the horse’s head. In this image, the tree is growing downwards. From the wearer’s perspective, the tree is upright but the horse’s head is upside down. An extremely unique and simple way to make tattoos stand out, don’t you agree?

35. Black and white design with white mane and white beard.

This is an unusual horse tattoo because it actually shows off the front part of the horse’s head. We usually see side views, which can be beautiful, but this tattoo definitely looks different. It’s as if you’re standing face to face with the horse itself. Another original element comes in the form of a white mane and white beard. The tattoo fits perfectly on the wearer’s forearm. It must have taken many hours of precise work to complete, but the results were certainly spectacular.

36. White horse head and highly detailed bay.

What I like most about this work is that the horse’s head seems to be illuminated by sunlight. I can imagine a beautiful pony in the wilderness, looking to the horizon for its next meal or playground. Green background indicates the horse is in the wild. The white mane and white muzzle add contrast and uniqueness to this lifelike horse tattoo.

37. Horses and monochrome hair.

A simple and understated design. the horse is represented by the head, neck and mane, while the rest of the body turns to feathers. I’ve seen this type of abstract equine art before, and it seems to be gaining more and more ground in our modern times. A few decades ago, such a tattoo would never have worked but we are evolving and so is our artistic sense. This particular piece sits above the shoulder blade, which is a perfect location for it.

38. Simple outline of a horse and its rider.

This work of art represents a woman leaving her horse. It’s a simple line tattoo that doesn’t take long to complete and isn’t particularly painful. However, due to its location on the side of the chest, this chair may be a bit uncomfortable to sit through. The result is a minimalist horse tattoo that has deep meaning to its wearer. It could be a tribute to a horse that has passed away, or a tribute to a very close friend.

39. A simple horse illustration made up of a few lines.

Another very simple piece of body art, this one is made up of cursive lines. the line starts on the left or right and creates the silhouette of a horse that is never interrupted. Although we can’t see it from this angle, it’s likely that the left and right lines connect around the wearer’s ankle forming a sort of ankle tattoo bracelet. Simple and elegant, this is one of my favorite tattoo designs.

40. Geometric cross-section of a horse’s head.

Geometric tattoos can look amazing if done right. here’s a great example – a profile view of a horse’s head, following the natural curvature of the neck and mane while using sharp lines and geometric shapes. the face is done in a more natural style possible at the request of the wearer. Additionally, it has a fairly simple design in black and white. It probably won’t turn heads due to its location on the forearm, but it’s definitely a nice tattoo to have.

41. The horse gallops sideways.

When it comes to small tattoos, you can get a horse anywhere on your body. this may lie on the wearer’s back and the photograph is taken immediately upon completion. This means that the horse’s color will probably fade a bit as the tattoo matures. The front part of the subject is detailed and realistic, while the back part is stylized, almost sketched. The legs are essentially made up of lines and dots, while the rear and rear end come in various geometric shapes.

42. A horse and its loving owner.

Another work of art shows the bond between the horse and its rider. This horse is stylized in the style of a Disney animation and the horse has a very happy look on its face as it shares a quiet moment with its handler. 43. Horse tattoo in the forest.

A wild horse in the middle of the forest. At a glance it looks like a photo, but a closer look reveals a unique art style that resembles a painting more. The subject is center stage and it looks directly at the viewer. Around it, the forest curves beautifully following the contours of the wearer’s shoulders and arms. It is a perfect work that shows the peaceful existence of horses in nature.

44. Raising black horses and galloping white horses.

two in one. An amazing display of strength and speed. Duality is represented by a rearing black horse and a running white horse. two different souls living in the same body. There are many explanations for this tattoo, but what is undeniable is the skill and dedication of the artist. Even though it’s done in black and white, it’s probably the most eye-catching piece of body art on this list.

45. The horse jumped over the gate.

This horse is undergoing a complete transformation. It seemed like it was moving through different dimensions. It first existed as lines in a sketch, and by jumping through what looked like a circular gate, it transformed into a flesh-and-blood creature – a black horse with a mane floating. Despite being just a simple profile, the gate itself appears three-dimensional.

46. Raising horses. Skeletons are visible.

The first thing that comes to mind when you see this tattoo is decay. This is an immortal horse, no doubt about it. It seemed to be affected by some kind of plague, but it continued, standing firm and not letting death claim it. Maybe it can’t die. After all, immortal horses have appeared in many video games and movies. clouds in the background can create a dramatic effect. I suspect the artist meant to imply that this was a giant horse that could somehow reach the clouds when reared.

47. A horse with hair in its mane. Decorated in Indian style.

Not only the feathers in the mane but also the large medallion adorning the horse’s neck reminded me of a Native American horse. The horse head decorations are clearly tribal, but it is difficult to determine exactly which tribe used them or during what time period. The horse has a short, small head and gentle eyes. It also appears to be smiling, which is not something we often see in animal-based artwork.

48. Colorful temporary horse tattoos.

I have it on good authority that this is a temporary horse tattoo but it can always be made permanent by a skilled artist. The art style is quite familiar but I can’t understand it. It has a playful look, especially when it comes to color choice. The subject is essentially a stylized carousel horse in a rearing pose. Not exactly the easiest to drive, but it sure looks cool as an arm tattoo.

49. Expressive horse tattoo.

Heavily stylized and menacing in appearance, this permanent piece of body art sits on the forearm. It is a black and white horse tattoo with a long mane and unique looking bridle that appears to be made from rope. the horse is holding a stick in its mouth, which shows that it is actually eating. This contradicts its menacing appearance and makes you try to demand more. Why does the horse look so ferocious if it is just eating peacefully in the field?

50. Chess knight tattoo.

Chess knights have been symbols of honor and courage for hundreds of years. These pieces look like horses because that’s what knights used to ride in battle. In chess, the knight is restricted and can only move in an L shape. this has a knight piece, which is part of the card (JOYUL). Chess-themed cards are quite rare, as are the tattoos that represent them.
